Shinko Denshi is the only company in the world today to manufacture precision balances and various types of scales using tuning-fork sensors. Since its establishment in 1963, the company has pursued innovation and originality in all that it does, introducing various products into the field of measuring instruments. As demonstrated in the example of the Subaru telescope, our precision balances and various other scales using tuning-fork sensors are highly accurate and reliable. Such aspects of our products have earned Shinko Denshi a reputation for excellence both at home and abroad.

1963
Company founded. Production of differential transformer scales began.
1970
Developed the DC differential transformer.
1972
Developed the world's first electronic counting scale.
1973
Tsukuba Plant constructed. Kansai office opened.
1980
Capital increased to 50 million yen.
1982
Acquired Shimozuma Precision Co.,Ltd.
1983
Acquired Taisho Balance Co.,Ltd. Developed the world's first electronic Tuning-fork balance.

Developed Japan's first electronic explosion-proof scale.

Commemorated 25th anniversary.
1990
Nagoya office opened. Developed tuning-fork, precision balance HG series.

Developed in-motion cubing and weighing instrument Measure Boy.
1991
Developed electromagnetic precision balance PF series.
1994
Developed stress sensors for astronomical telescope "Subaru".

Developed Carrier Weigh, the world's first high-speed weighing instrument.

Tsukuba plant acquired ISO9001.

Tsukuba plant acquired "Designated Manufacturers".
